As far as tourism is concerned, except of historical sights, an important role is played by the recreation centre Čerenec with the dam lake of the same name built between 1961 and 1964. The lenghts of the water level is 2 000 metres and it is 279 metres wide at the spillways. Čerenec provides suitable conditions for the summer recreations and water sports. Vrbové is a starting point of the tourist marked trail leading to the northern part of the Little Carpatians through the nature reserve called Veľký Plešivec up to Čachtice Castle and from there to Stará Turá, Lubina, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, and back again to Čachtice. (Signposts are placed in front of the manor house)

Situated in the surounding countryside there are further natural atractions: the protected natural creations : the cave Veľká pec, the gate Malá Pec the protected natural finding sites Orlie skaly and Čerenec being rich in the rare xerophyte and thermophilic flora.

The town of Vrbové can be reach easily by car and coach. Numerous bus services run to the surrounding towns. The nearest railway station is in Piešťany. The catering servicies at Vrbové are rendered by a number of restaurants. Some problems emerged as far as accomodation is concerned. Vrbové completely lacks the facilities of this kind, but it can be compensated by accomodation servicies in the neighbour spa of town Piešťany.
